Starting:

You can grab one more if you wait in base (4 pots)

Farm much as you can, and when you go base for the first time get this item.

And this too, so you will get AP, Hp and gold.

vs AD

vs AP

If you want to build Rod of Ages, you need to start it early in the game, so you can stack everything.

This is a Core Item, give you alot of armor, +20% cooldown reduction, and nearby enemies suffer −20% attack speed.

This item is allways a great choice for Cho, AP/MR and aura nearby enemy champions suffer −20 magic resistance.

This combined with Vorpal Spikes makes it beneficial to bump up your attack speed. This item increases your DPS considerably while adding some nice defensive stats.

The health regen off this item is simply amazing. The magic resist is also very good too and you get more move speed.

Its also very good item, I usually build Abyssal Scepter, I don't build this item that much. Feel free to swap, but I like the damage.

The healing buff is miniscule from this item, but you dont have money for more, its allways a good item, Hp, MR and CDR.

If you see that you are enough tanky just go for this.

A great mid-late game item. If you die it will bring you back to life after a few seconds without giving thew gold meaning it gives you a second chance. Late Game death timers can be very long so you will want to buy one of these eventually in almost any game. It also provides both armor and magic resist so you can fit it into any build

Ok, this is all items that I think are good for Cho'Gath.
